Think disposable and replace every 3-4 months

Now I'll update my review again. Technical support was useless. I spent four hours contacting tech support (first with my ISP, then my PC manufacturer, then TP-Link) to no avail - for a product that costs around $12. GMAB. -- Oh, they will replace him if I agree to spend another hour going through the complex "registration" steps and then follow them. I'm not willing to do that for a $12 item. I'm trying a different brand this time. I'm updating my rating. It's been four months (to date) since I bought it. Used intensively every day. Suddenly it stopped working. I noticed that the weight of the ethernet cable was pulling it down and, unfortunately, it's too weak to support the cable's weight. The metal part that connects to the PC is bent. I'm just assuming that's the problem. The product wasn't touched or touched at all, they just plugged it in and stuck. upset. After several disconnects and reconnects, it finally worked again. I hope he keeps working. I don't like that it's bent by the wire it's designed for. --- First Review: Really needed to get more bandwidth for my internet -- I just can't get the speeds we pay for with WIFI -- really need to connect to modem with ethernet cable. The problem is that you can no longer buy a computer with an Ethernet port! (Who approved this design flaw?) Well, an adapter to the rescue. In these days of pandemic social distancing, where we're all kind of living on Zoom, there should be that kind of bandwidth. Especially now. I did a speed test with the adapter, the throughput is excellent. Without them, even if we are only half a meter away from the modem, we lose about 25% of the Internet speed. Especially now.
