As an alternative to the outrageously expensive Wacom Intuos Pro tablet, this tablet is fine if you're willing to sacrifice some of its features. Pros: The smooth surface is much easier to work with than the Wacom Intuos tablet. The Pro is where the rough surface pulls on your pen and if like me you have carpal tunnel or tendinitis it will irritate you within minutes of use. Thank you for the familiarity. The box was very good compared to the Intuos Pro. Price: Huion is great as it is affordable for the average artist. 8k pressure levels work beautifully. I like that you can tweak it to lower levels as well. The express keys on the side are easy to disable, which is something I've been trying to disable on the Intuos Pro for a long time. The tablet is wide enough that your hands can't even reach the keys if you rest to even activate them [that was hell for the Intuos Pro either]. Customer Service: Huion responds to your questions very quickly. there for you as well as next to your tablet service. They made the mistake of sending a pair of gloves [I ordered two, only got one] and they got back to me as soon as possible with a friendly demeanor. :) The pen is very light and those 400 hours of charging last a long time. Cons Drivers: Huion is known for big differences between tablet drivers, some are more customizable than others, but they seemed to make up for missing features. The main thing I needed was for the pen output to register as a right mouse click [I use a left hand mouse], but there is absolutely no way to change this. Some drawing programs have their own problems with this tablet; some work fine like SAI, others like Photoshop can annoy you to reconfigure. But if you are willing to solve this problem with a tablet, you will find so many good things about this tablet that you will have a hard time switching to another tablet. Of course I just painted on it. Tablet for a few days, other issues may arise, but for the time spent so far it's been wonderful.
