I checked the mouse on three different computers, and on two of them there was a horrible problem: the mouse polling frequency was at least 5-10 hertz, which meant that there was no possibility of any smoothness in the movement of the cursor (I checked the mouse on the third computer, and there were no issues with it), so it appears that the issue is with the curves drivers. There is no button to press in order to modify the sensitivity of the mouse. They decided to make a ratchet wheel switch instead, which is absolutely pointless. Since the sensor does not sit in the middle of the mouse but rather on one of its sides, the range of motion for the cursor is somewhat limited. In general, I did not anticipate that a reputable manufacturer would produce such shoddy work. After purchasing the mouse, I promptly gave it back the next day.
