I bought it a little over a year ago, two to be exact. One for me and one for a roommate. Today - in the last ten minutes before I actually wrote this - one of the two sets of USB ports has stopped working and the power light between them is pulsing at an erratic rate, and those two ports are now refusing power. Mind you, I had the charging cable and smartwatch charging cradle plugged into this side for most of the year (used both on and off for the same amount of time). With the other set, the charging cables were plugged in for just as long and were used just as often. Again, this could just be a coincidence. I will order a second one as a spare, if nothing goes wrong in a year I will revise this review. If this resolves itself I will change the rating as well. Edit: Looks like I somehow managed to blow up a specific component on the aforementioned USB ports - a capacitor. Accordingly, if the usage pattern is changed, the rest of the validation remains valid. I will update in a year.
