Review on 🚗 AmeriLite Black OE Halogen Replacement Headlights Assembly with Corner Lights Set for Dodge 1994-2001 Ram 1500 and 1994-2002 Ram 2500 3500 - Passenger and Driver Side by Jose Pacyga

I bought these to fit my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 and installed them with Auxbeam LED bulbs. Some aspects of this review may be directly related to the use of these lamps, which is why I have included this information. Using standard halogen bulbs may produce different results than my personal experience with this product. These are my first impressions of this product and I will try to remember to update this review after some time has passed with these headlight assemblies. With this in mind, your mileage may vary and use the information below to draw your own conclusions. UPDATE CHANGE 1/2021: The headlight housings are very well preserved, the glasses are not clouded or yellowed, no cracks or breaks are present. I went back to halogen after not getting the LEDs right. With a malfunction of the LED lamps, this is not the case. With halogen lamps, I was able to achieve a clear cut-off and direct the light correctly to illuminate the road as much as possible without dazzling oncoming traffic. Even after a year of use I can still recommend it. Read on for my initial thoughts on these headlight housings when they were purchased and first installed in November 2019. First, they were securely packaged, with a fairly thick layer of cardboard over the crates and a piece of rigid foam underneath to hold them in. Crate. The next thing that struck me was the material and construction of the case. They were definitely made of much higher quality plastic than most other products of a similar nature. Also, the mounting bracket design was slightly larger than in other cases I've seen. This creates a solid construction but comes at the expense of ease of installation. I found that I had to loosen and lower the front bumper on my truck to get the cases in place, which isn't a big deal, but it added an extra step to the whole process. The reflectors in these builds are pretty good for a non-original device. I had dark spots in the radiation pattern, but I'm not sure if this is just due to the design of the reflector or my LED bulbs. I'll have to play around with the settings to see if I can minimize or eliminate these dark spots altogether. The overall beam alignment seems to favor the driver's side and should be adjusted to the right in my opinion. The fit of these housings was good all round, all the screw holes lined up correctly and most importantly the screw tab on the side marker assembly was nice and thick and could really hold the lamp in place. Again, these are my first thoughts on it. Product. This truck often drives at night on highways and on bumpy dirt roads. I'll try to update later and report my results as they hold up.
