Review on Mandoline Slicer Spiralizer Vegetable Spiralizer by Trevor Palmer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great tool, compact, efficient and safe to use.

This product has been excellent so far. I've been using it for a month and very often. The blades retained their sharpness when they came out of the box. Feeding your family on vegetables and avoiding empty starches and carbohydrates isn't easy. This mandolin makes it possible. A big bonus is that a protective glove is included. That's great. Impossible to cut, thin enough you won't feel it on your hand, giving you full control of what you're doing. Eliminates the fear of refusing to cook. Very easy to care for with a little mild washing-up liquid. I have tried many tools and this Madolin has replaced many of the bulky tools that used to take up desk and drawer space. Blade attachments are difficult to change at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes quick and easy. I've tried different spiralizers and none worked properly. This spiralizer is ideally positioned and easy to keep stable. Now I can spiralize a whole cucumber, carrot or zucchini in one go. Zucchini: My zucchini noodles are amazing and my whole family loves them so much. The width of the noodles is just perfect. You can look at one of my photos to see how perfect they turn out. Slicing a whole zucchini lengthwise into perfectly thin slices has never been easy and takes a lot of time and effort. It takes seconds with this tool. Then I toss them in the pan and in a few minutes I have a full bowl of zucchini fried to perfection. A: So far I've cooked potato chips with a straight blade and hash browns with a grater. ONION: The most amazing thing is that the closed container catches the juice and the chopped onion doesn't make you cry anymore. Onions come out perfectly thin for adding to salads. CARROTS: For the first time in my life, I was able to convince my family to eat raw carrots that aren't baby carrots. Even with young carrots, they would eat the skin and leave the thick one. With the spiralizer, they now have a lot of fun eating carrot noodles. Grater leaves are also great for sautéing.
