We have downsized my 2 year old crib from a double to a crib as we have moved and the children are now sharing a room. This bed was very easy to assemble. Items were packaged very carefully and labeled correctly. Not just thrown in a bag. She sat alone without her husband for about an hour. Maybe a man would take less time, but I wanted to be very thorough. That's exactly what I imagined. No additional tools are required. We bought another one for our other child and will upload photos when it is assembled.
