Note that the adapter names "Dual " and "Single " have been swapped, but the images are correct.

Please note that the adapter names "Dual" and "Single" are reversed, but the illustrations are correct. I reported this inconsistency to Revain and they were quick to do nothing to fix it. Nonetheless, the map is great. It allows you to add an NVME SSD to a computer that only has one PCIe slot. I've used three copies of the "single" version of the card and they all worked great. According to the description, it is backwards compatible with PCIe 2.0, and it is. I had another cheaper card that caused the system to hang on reboot, but this StarTech card doesn't hang the system. On a Dell R610 server, adding an NVME SSD as a data drive works for me. The only caveat I would like to mention is if you want to boot from an SSD, make sure your motherboard supports this option. Otherwise, if you just want to use it as a storage device, no drivers or installation are required.
