First of all, this is a great tool to have in your arsenal when you are adding or changing something that might require a fastener. This set has five different sizes, up to 1/4-20. It's great for tight spaces, smaller threaded inserts work fine. The larger quarter-inch fastener works just as well, but requires more compression to snug and not twist. What I did was install the fastener with a tool, then thread a quarter inch bolt with a nut onto it, then hold the bolt down so it doesn't turn while the nut is tightened. He pressed the shutter firmly to the metal surface and did not allow it to rotate. Good quality, good case, high quality tool. One piece of advice: I would purchase the steel knurled thread inserts elsewhere than the ones that come with this kit. The ones included in the kit are not keyed and may rotate as there is nothing to hook onto the surface they are inserted into.
