I love this item! I've had a lot of traffic jams over the last few months and in desperation I bought this to improve the air quality in my home (1500 SF). We live in a very dry climate and we have four dogs and cats that live indoors and outdoors. They track down a lot of dust and dirt, especially in the winter months. This ionizer resulted in an immediate improvement in my ability to breathe. We turn on the ionizer at high power when we are at home and at medium power or turn it off when we are not at home. We use it in the living room at night and put it in the bedroom at night. We turn on the ionizer at low speed for the night. We use the ozone generator at low power from time to time when we are at home and awake. I have not experienced any irritation from ozone. I love how it smells like it just rained, but I understand some people don't like the smell. This greatly improved the pet odors in our house as well as the musty smell of the recycled air from the house that was closed all winter. Sweeping the floor is also a different experience with this thing, as the dust and pet hair appear to "clump together" instead of swirling around and flying through the air. This makes cleaning easier. When the weather is nice, we like to open doors and windows and let in a lot of fresh air. This is the next best thing! Highly recommended!
