Review on Xbox 360 250GB Console Kinect by Eric Sharp

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Awesome Car / Amazing Technology / Best Library / BURN CALORIES!

First, it's an Xbox 360 and it's great: lots of space, upgraded hardware that doesn't suffer from RROD, and is super quiet. 360 has an amazing game library with some great Xbox LIVE exclusive games that are really polished. Second, it comes with Kinect for $50 less than just by itself. This technology is amazing! It can see your entire body and has a promising library of fitness and exercise games that are second to none when you're just holding the controllers. Dance Central is exceptionally well done. These games make you burn calories which is great since most of us have a few extra pounds! Kinect attempts to access the entire family. My wife has only played two video games: Rock Band and Dance Central, and Dance Central is the only game she enjoys playing. Lots of great games that aren't about shooting, killing, or dismembering. That being said, if you enjoy these fun activities (and I do), the Xbox library already has plenty of them. So this console is great for hardcore and great for the whole family. Win/Win.Negatives: The bundled game isn't impressive, but it's still pretty reliable, and I still wish the Xbox had a Blu-Ray player, but I'm very happy with this purchase. The games released aren't impressive (except for Dance Central, which is amazing!), but this is a new release and Microsoft knows how to build a base of solid games. TL; DR: A great console with a great new peripheral that's a great library for kids, non-gamers and people who aren't afraid to sweat a little. Great price even at $400.
