Single Cat 5E/6/7 J-Tech HDMI Digital Extender (latest and best) Version 1.3 Certified to Full HD 1080P I can honestly say this product is fine and serves its purpose comes with receiver and Channel. You only need one ethernet cable to extend compared to other products that need 2. A power supply is also required for the transmitter and receiver. Note that the product video advertises that it can be used to connect to a router. and output to multiple monitors. I can tell you that this does NOT work for this product. I've tried using a transmitter and connecting it to a router AND a switch, then receiver to each source. Nothing happens and nothing works. Also note that the product gets very hot. I deducted one star for the item being hot all the time and another star for misadvertising at multiple outlets. I had to buy an HDMI splitter to output to multiple monitors. [Update] I was contacted by J-Tech (great communication) and had to explain to me a misleading product video showing how it connects to a router. It was for a different product. They were also aware of the product's overheating issues and have an updated product that they will send to me. I'm giving the rating back one star for the excellent customer service alone. [Update #2] I received an updated version of this product from J-tech and I can say that the overheating problem has improved. The product is still hot, but not as bad as it used to be. It's like playing with your phone for a while and it consumes a lot of resources and heats up. With that in mind, I am increasing another star for this product with a new improvement. Great job J-Tech for great customer service!
