I was able to get 4 of these out with the Joy-Con but the other 4 were very difficult, 2 eventually gave out although they ripped off easily ( never mind (as the seller was kind enough to include spare screws and leaving a nice little handwritten note mentioning them) while the other two are poorly filmed and don't come out with the screw provided, presumably the wrong size. ever since i had a problem and found out about easily removable nintendo screws from my 3ds a few years ago. I haven't had time to test the sticks myself as I haven't been able to install both, one of which is also the worst drifting. I just received the kit you were supposed to make first (Vastar 68-in-1 Precision Screwdriver Set with 51-bit Magnetic Screwdriver Set) and once it arrives I'll see how well it goes with one other joycon that was more difficult to loosen with this particular screwdriver but not strips. I hope these replacement parts are worth keeping this kit and just buying another one to go with it. The joysticks look basically the same, but they don't feel dangling (especially compared to the original joysticks, and the cases will be nice). as the original/this design allows for a lot of build up around the inner rim, although I know others may already be using custom caps (which I'll eventually look into).
