Definitely a great product. I'm deducting 2 stars for false advertising. Yes, deduct 3 stars! We buy products by looks and if they don't match what is advertised, that's a big problem for online shopping. I know that companies want and need to market their products attractively. , but they should not mislead (lie) their customers. The problem here is the misleading photos. The images in this listing show a shiny metallic appearance when in reality it is a matte satin silver or brushed aluminum finish. Wouldn't have been a problem if I hadn't bought it that would match the silver accents of the nozzle I was planning to use with it. Had I known it was this type of silver I would have bought the black version. Pros • Very strong magnetic grip (even stronger with MagSafe case) • Not very thick • Easy to use/remove Cons • Misleading photos (shows glossy appearance when product comes matte like satin aluminum) Notes: Only works with products by MagSafe, which at the time of writing this review is for the iPhone 12 phones only. I've read that some people say the magnetic properties aren't very strong. I would not agree. I attached this to my official iPhone 12 MagSafe leather case and to the phone itself. Both seem very strong. To a greater extent than an Apple Wallet case. note that when attaching it to a bare iPhone you have to remember that it has a glass back. Glass is slippery. So it's not the product's fault as I feel it connects to the back well enough to be considered safe. But when attached to the body, it is very reliable. The friction of leather or silicone improves the grip of the iPhone. *** If you have an iPhone 12 and are not using a case, it is durable, but not as durable as a case due to the glass back of the phone. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a pop socket, finger ring, lanyard or other mount for their phone but doesn't want it to be permanent.
