Black instead of brown I have a problem every time I change the ribbon, but Magicard tells me it's nothing to do with the ribbon (although I've been told it's with a previous similar occasion) Every time I change the tapes I have a problem. This is getting more than annoying! And the software works correctly, the drivers are set up correctly, so how can you say it's not tape related when that's the only thing causing the problem.
