This cosmetic chair is a 17.7 inch dressing table or ottoman. Assembly is easy - you simply attach the legs to the seat section using the screws and washers provided. Note that I shorted out a washer. The included tool can easily remove softer metal screws, so be careful. I put a star on the screws because of the washer and the softness of the metal. The seat was a bit uneven when assembled, but luckily there are adjustments on the legs. In general the quality is average and when assembled the seat looks beautiful.
