For the last few years I've been constantly looking for a pair of dance shoes that are big enough for my feet. I wear "street shoes" in men's size around "13 wide", but in practice - from "12.5" to "14". I found a pair of Capezio Romeo canvas/suede-soled ballet shoes at 14 Wide at a local dance supply store, but after a year and a half of weekly Scottish country dancing, they're worn out. When I went to have them replaced, first with an equivalent model in leather and then with a supposedly identical model, 'size 14' was the largest model available on the site and was in both leather and canvas about one number smaller. I was ready to give up when I found this model, which at the time was the *only* flat available in (men's) size 15 or larger in black. I have a size 15 wide (which is called 19W) and it fits my foot very well (street shoe size 13). The toe box might be a little tight and the heel area is a little loose, especially compared to the Capezio Romeo. But since the size of the hole in the shoe is adjustable, that's all for the best. Still not ideal for Scottish country dancing --- I want one-piece sole dance shoes, not split soles, and I want full leather. But this is the best I've found so far.
