They are suitable for cleaning. But they're useless if you don't want water dripping all over the place. I can't even kill them to squeeze them to the end. They hold water too much until it evaporates. Nothing to dry. I tried the first one I took out of the box several times in the hope that it might squeeze out with repeated use. nope I really hoped I would have good quality erasers that weren't the color of a pencil. Seems impossible to find if you want old fashioned sponges that work and wring. There used to be sponges from a well-known company with colorless, almost white sponges. But I can't find her anymore. I ended up buying a few light orange ones. I can't use them in the kitchen. They will be for garage projects.
