Simply good. normal business phone. I bought this to replace the cordless phone in my bedroom so I wouldn't have to worry about charging it. Pros: - Trimline. doesn't take up much space - Three levels of volume control Cons: - The cable stuck in the wall didn't fit. Had to remove one from a phone already installed/used elsewhere in the house. - I have this to put my bed on. The spiral cable is too short. When you pick up the phone and try to speak. The phone falls off the bedside table. It just slips off. It's too light to stay put. wherever you put it. It's beyond annoying. - My biggest problem is that I can only see the display when I'm standing directly over the phone in good light. That's why I still keep a cordless phone in my room that announces who's calling. Caller ID on this phone is completely useless to me. Yes I know it's easy to charge your phone. However, as the sole carer of my 90-year-old ailing mother, I don't always forget to charge all my phones. So I want to have a reliable phone nearby that I can rely on. So this phone goes to the Salvation Army box office. Why can't anyone produce a phone worth owning? I'm glad I didn't get rid of my old phones, but caller ID will help. Must see if they still make caller id boxes that plug into phones. That would mean more cables and a different box. but if I remember correctly, you could at least read them.
