My wife and I bought this for our young daughter, we wanted her in our room but not in our bed. For this purpose it works great. It tucks under our bed well enough, but doesn't sit high enough that it can't be slid onto our mattress. To be honest we have a very high bed. The carrycot is generally relatively well made and easy to assemble. It has wheels to make it easier to slide across the floor, but I just have to lift it to move it around as it's not very heavy. The only real complaint I have about it is that it doesn't seem to sit flat. I noticed that the carrycot tilts slightly to one side, which can be an issue for some people. My baby will lean a little to that side, but it doesn't really bother him. If cost is an important factor for you, as it was for us, then you should definitely give it a try, especially when you consider how expensive competing options are. This will get the job done.
