Review on 🔋 MOTOPOWER MP00205B-R: High-Performance 12V Battery Charger with Desulfator, Timer Protection, and Trickle Charge Features by Malik Axmed

I drive short distances most of the time which can drain my batteries I've had a fairly high rate of battery changes over the years and have tried several times to extend the life of my dying batteries, by borrowing an old fashioned charger from a friend. It was slightly larger and heavier than the Motopower battery charger and typically didn't extend battery life all that much. When the batteries died, they were difficult to recover. I like that they are small, light and easy to store. Once you plug it in properly to charge, you can easily tell the light is on. When it is plugged in and has power, the green indicator will be on. When I plugged it in and charged successfully, the red light came on and then it flashed red and yellow/orange alternately for a few seconds (see video). According to the instructions, yellow means that it is already 90% charged. When the battery is fully charged, the large green light on the right will illuminate to indicate the battery is being charged/serviced. The top orange indicator should show when the connection polarity is reversed and the battery cannot be charged. Literally in the week this Motopower arrived in the mail, my battery missed two starts before getting stuck on the third turn of the key. I've been able to charge/service it and although it's only been a week, everything has been fine so far. Although the instructions are simple (see photo), it took me a while to find a good spot to ground and clean the second clamp. / Scrape the engine block to install the second clip and complete the chain. I contacted the support email and they provided a helpful response within a few days. Overall I am satisfied and the product works as expected. . I also noticed that unlike older chargers, it can desulfate the battery by pulsing the charge to extend battery life.
