The best thing about this software, I think it's the fact that it can be used for both 2d and 3d games. It also includes some tools like particle systems, animation, etc. There are many different tutorials online which will teach you how to use these programs effectively. Since there isn't much documentation out there, you'll have to spend time learning from others who've had experience with using them. This program is great because once you learn one part of it, then all other parts become easier to understand as well. You could make any type of game with this software including 2d or 3d. Some people might find that they don't know exactly what each tool does but after doing research things begin to click into place.
