Magnet feels strong, straps feel strong and would definitely fit my 10 year old waist. However, the product arrived damaged in its packaging (they sent it that way and it was NOT damaged in transit). Whenever this happens I am suspicious of the quality of their products and the integrity of the company as a whole. The metal has been scraped off where the top strap meets the magnetic side. TBH if it wasn't noticeable when I buckled my belt I'd probably just save it and vacuum it out. But if such scratches are so visible, then either the used device has already been sent back to me or the belt itself is complete scrap.
