Review on 📼 Sony DVC60PRL Mini DV Tape 60min Premium Data Cartridge - Pack of 10 by Alberto Brewster

Well to be completely honest I didn't want to write this review because this is a simple cartridge that you put in a camcorder and record video and no problems. I've ordered this brand and so far I've had no problems recording or playing them. I record in HDV with an HDR FX7 camcorder and have never had a problem with it. I like to keep all the originals, so I have over 20 tapes. It may not sound like much but it is to me. I can play a 2-3 year old tape and it works great. One thing I noticed is that one of the reviewers said you don't want to mix different brands. I was using Maxell and these and one day I got a dirty head warning and my camcorder shut down. I was extremely frustrated as I was in the process of filming a wedding and these events cannot be recaptured at a more opportune time. Finally everything worked for me again. Wonder. Anyway, the reason I shared this short story is because I learned my lesson about using different brands and since this never gives me a problem, I will use these tapes when they run out. because they are pretty good. Another very important point when recording HDV you can sometimes get a brief freeze with other brands, my camcorder manual even says it's normal and part of the nature of tape recording (I know, get it, right?), but with these VERY rare. Recommended product, I will buy again if I need more.
