The product works. I ordered another privacy filter from ProTechBiz, which unfortunately didn't work at all, not even in the slightest. Luckily, Revain's returns policy and system are easy to navigate and returns are (so far) painless. For proper operation it is important to adjust the contrast and brightness of the monitor. If you set everything to 100, no privacy filter in the world works properly. This filter allows you to see what's happening on the screen with brightness and contrast settings of 100. For example, you can say that a person is surfing the Internet. However, it's dark enough that you can't see exactly what's in the browser. By lowering the brightness and contrast values to around 80 and 60, respectively, this privacy function works perfectly. For those who still insist on using the settings for 100, it is as I mentioned above. People can see what you're doing, but they can't find out the details. Thus, it is virtually safe to work with sensitive information and the person next to you cannot see the details. However, if you're likely to be playing games or surfing the web and want to make sure your boss doesn't see what you're doing, consider other options.
