So they are quite thin. Magnets themselves are strong when it comes to magnetism. I say this because I gave my nephew two to play with. He threw it against the wall, hoping to catch the metal parts. Unfortunately these two are broken. But there is no point deduction for that, because that was not their goal. I lined them up behind my bed as I hate drilling holes and they hold up great on the wall. These are not durable metals that can withstand heavy impact, so keep that in mind. Otherwise, what I've noticed is that they have a north and south pole and they repel each other very well, and not pushing the magnets apart like Lego is very desirable. The force from magnet to magnet is really strong. I just slide them out of a box like a cigarette or crayon to make it easier. At least that's how it worked for me. I won't post how much they can hold now as I don't have time to play around with them yet, but I can post an update when I have time. Overall I would say 5 stars. . Just pay attention to the material as they are not steel.
