Essential for precise cuts.
Serrated scissors are essential for cutting appliqués to size and for sewing small pieces of fabric together, as the teeth prevent the fabric from slipping when cutting. They are hard-wearing, not (yet) tarnished, comfortable and cut to fit perfectly. I have two Clover serrated patchwork scissors of all sizes (top and bottom) and a few sizes in my portable sewing kit. I use them for applique, embroidery, embroidery perse and celtic knots.
