30 day update: Urine odor wasn't masked as well towards the end as it was at the beginning. It's held together well the whole time and yes it does stick to the bottom of the box but if you scratch it a little it will rise. Both of my cats took to it well and actually started using this box as their main box. If a cat lover wants to try this brand for their kittens, this is not a bad option. I'm on my next brand! Yes that is correct! I bought it because it looked nice! I was in the market to torment my cats and wanted to try the crystal cat litter (just for fun). I bought three types of crystalline fillers and this was the only crystalline filler out of the three. My cats don't seem to have a problem with it and are behaving as they should. It clumps urine (not as well as clay), but it clumps. I don't get a strong overpowering odor from the pen unless I stir it. So this spatula is not only beautiful, but also serves its purpose.
