Well I have been using Ziploc for many years I have never had a complaint about the quality of any size pack but for some reason all the quart size packs I have bought in the past few months have had some kind of defect : The zipper melted or something, it's so tight that I ripped off most of the packages at the top when trying to open the package to use it for what it was needed for at the time. This has happened to 3 packages so far. If you have packaging with this defect, there is a solution, gently pull the packaging from the middle of the packaging where the food is stored to open the packaging, if I did not say so, to basically have a good visual effect Open it the other way around as you normally do, instead of pulling across the seal, gently pull part of the pouch out from under the seal.
