Update October 30th: My original 3-star review is below. I have finally gotten to wear this dress to a costume party, and I’m upgrading the review to 4 stars. I found that the zipper problem was manageable – not sure why it got easier, but it did. The fit is still a bit off. The dress definitely runs small, so you should order a size up. The zipper still puckers a bit in the back. That said, I received so many compliments on this dress. Some friends thought I must have previously worn it to a wedding or other formal affair. The dress held up well and looked great with the flapper accessories that I bought to go with it.*****Original review:It’s a beautiful dress, and I’m hoping to wear it to an upcoming costume party. There are some issues with fit, though. I’m on the border between small and medium sizes. I ordered a medium in this dress, and it’s still very snug. Getting the dress zipped up – the last section at the top – was nightmarishly hard, but I finally managed. Then I saw that the zipper puckers in the back and looks cheap. Still okay for a costume party, I guess. If you can get the dress to fit you well, I’d say this could be worn to a semi-formal affair – people will think you’re going vintage to be clever.
