Bought after looking for a baby crib. Although recommended for 2+ years (if I'm not mistaken). We use it for 18 months. I liked that the pillow insert can be removed before washing (once a week). I chose this design. The head and legs areas are not confused. Children sleep in shoes and I do not agree with shoes in bed. Because the upholstery surface always stays the same, your feet stay in the same place and hopefully fewer germs! 2. It dries quickly when put down after washing.3. With a carrying handle, it rolls up neatly.4. The green and yellow submarine design is gender neutral and my daughter loves it. The background is grayer than actually shown.5. The ceiling is neither thick nor thin. It's perfect for sleeping during the day with an internal temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. I've used it directly on the carpet a few times without a crib or mattress and have heard no complaints. I'm not sure where to buy replacement pillow inserts as I feel like they went flat right away after a few uses. I'm totally fine with using the existing one, but not sure for kids who like fluffy pillows.
