Well you expected mini cubes, you have them! Some dice stubbornly tried to stay in the shell after a strong spin, to get into the shell you had to "tap" too much. An extra shovel when kept in a trash can greatly reduces capacity when kept in a drawer, right? Don't put the LID on if you want to freeze the cubes quickly! With the lid closed, the water still had bubbles after my (single) large 1″+ cubes were already frozen. If you want it to be "smell proof" you can cover the cubes after freezing. This fits better in the space in my fridge than installing a large cube, so later I decide to remove the larger tray/basket when the freezer space is REALLY needed. Too expensive for what you get.
