Review on Eppicotispai Aluminum Ravioli Beechwood Handle by Kevin Silver

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A Darned Good Die Best in Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets Category

I only gave this product 4 stars out of 5 (which would honestly be 4.5 on a finer scale) simply because the cutting action itself isn't the most sharpest -- but it's what you get with injection molded products, so it's less of a flaw than a fact to contend with. Inch squares - very well built. A strong, comfortable grip, durable metal body and hardware, and no wobble when in use - so you know there's no risk of it falling apart. I use it all the time. If you love homemade pasta this is a must. I love it when I'm really in "test mode" and making everything from scratch, but when I can share a life-changing tip with home cooks in less time than we'd all like to cook in the kitchen: keep the brand handy and cheap packaging of round won-tan wrappers (available in all Asian markets and alongside tofu in the grocery section of most large supermarkets). Whether you're mixing ricotta, egg, and parmesan for ravioli, or a little sautéed spinach, sausage and cream for agnolotti, or potatoes and cabbage for dumplings, or some ground pork or shrimp and spices for fried dumplings, you're never more than half an hour from a main course or away with a side dish that will blow your family and your own away.
