I love wax seals and I love making traditional style seals with them. This wax just works. No bad smells, no weird melting properties. You just put it in a spoon, hold it over a candle, melt it and pour it out. Works with a variety of materials including paper, bottles, jute twine and more. (See my pics for examples of how I used it.) Mixing colors is easy: just add the colors you want into the spoon and start melting. Mixing fewer colors works best, but you can do whatever suits your specific seals. 2 pellets will get your sealing parts but not the outer ring. 3 granules usually ensure a complete seal. 4-5 granules for larger seals, filling small nooks and crannies of uneven ground, or when you want a thicker seal without pressing hard. You will need 1.5 to 2 times more pellets if you have an uneven surface such as a B. seal around yarn. Please note that without adhesive, this wax may not stick to some materials such as glass. However, it is not only this wax. If you want to be sure it will hold, apply sealant, let cool, then carefully peel and glue with E6000 craft glue. Then let it harden for 24 hours and you're done. (This is how I made the bottles in one of the photos.) There's a spoon. very bad in terms of durability. Its shape is great and it pours beautifully but DO NOT press on the wood or you will break it. However, if you hold the metal part of the pen while cleaning, you can use more force while cleaning. Just make sure you wear insulating gloves or just wrap the metal part of the handle in a paper towel or something because it gets hot! Mine broke the first time it was cleaned, but "broken" is a relative term: the metal part popped out of the wooden part. I was able to put it back and just be careful about letting it go on. Consider getting metal crayons or ink pads to cover the sealing parts after the wax has cooled. I found that the Sakura PenTouch pens (0, 7 extra fine or 1.0 mm fine) work well and are a clear advantage. Tsukineko Delicata Pigment Inkpads are a great way to add subtle spice with your finger, but it's not as obvious. I bought a 4 color "Metals" that has 4 smaller pads instead of 1 large pad.
