I've never been a woman with bags. I've always had a large handbag or a masculine style handbag. When I was in my twenties I decided I wanted to try a handbag as I always carried two or three items with me. This purse is wonderful. I used a large grocery bag (canvas style) and knew I wanted a bag with a similar design. Only complaint is that the bottom doesn't have a "hard bottom" so I had to remove the plastic wrap from my grocery store. pocket and slip it into your purse to keep it some shape. After that, this thing is PERFECT!
