I bought a couple of these to replace a 30 year old solid red LED digital clock that was scattered around my mom's house. They had to be reset every time there was a power outage, which unfortunately happens regularly. I have the green one and she loves the color and with AAA batteries they never need to be recharged. The new clock is probably 1/10 smaller than theirs, and yet the display is the same or even larger than the old one. The dimming function works really well so it doesn't disturb her sleep when she's in the bedroom. I am very happy with them and so are they.
