Review on 💨 Coolerguys Dual 80mm USB Cooling Fans: Beat the Heat with Double the Cooling Power! by Colin Watkins

This is an amazing set of fans. I was very impressed with the quality and noise level. Very quiet. I glued two fans together to make a block. I then removed the top two corner screws and replaced them with a screw about 29mm long. The actual width is 25mm, which allows me to thread longer screws directly into the small vents on the side of the receiver. As soon as I plugged the USB power cord into the front of my receiver, it immediately started cooling my component. I read just before connecting the fan. The device was used for one hour at 1/3 the volume. The temperature according to the digital thermometer of the receiver housing was 103 degrees. After using the device, it now holds a receiver temperature reading of 79-83 degrees, measured in the same area with the same operating conditions. I would also like to point out that I like that there is no fan shroud on the opposite side. This allowed me to install it flush with the side of the receiver. Because space was an issue.
