I have dark brown hair that has been bleached, so my stylist recommended starting with purple shampoo. After a little research I decided to give it a try and I love it! It was delivered quickly and I had no problems with the bottle or the product leaking. When I first opened the bottle and squeezed out the shampoo I was shocked at how purple it was, but you have to keep in mind that it's technically a toner so it's quite light. I have a quarter-size amount of the product on mine Apply to hair and leave for 5 minutes, then wash off and apply a conditioner mask. The thing really works! After the first wash I noticed a lot of the brassiness was gone from my hair and now after a few washes I can actually see the color difference. This is a salvation for those looking to extend the life of their hair between visits to the salon.
