We bought two of these monitors so our two kids can watch movies and shows on long car rides. The quality of the 2nd monitor when using the supplied AV cable is slightly worse than that of the 1st, but this is only noticeable when the two monitors are placed side by side. I would still recommend the product, especially if you could get it on sale. Buying two separate monitors is cheaper than buying a two-monitor set. They're also great for Prime streaming. However, you need to buy some extra cables to make it work. 1) Connection from Apple Lightning to Digital AV (model MD826AM/A) for iPhone. 2) a splitter for the cigarette lighter port as it is a power source as I have two devices plugged in (this is not needed for one device) and 3) an HDMI splitter to send a signal to both monitors as I don't have serial Have used link from them (wanted to keep the quality video on both). The HDMI splitter also charges via USB, so you need to plug it in. This helped maintain signal quality as I was only able to work on one screen without a connection.
