Crossbar is approximately 3mm thick
These D-rings were of excellent construction and quality. Great color for Louis Vuitton bags. They didn't fit me because the crossbar was too thick to fit behind the leather tongue. I want them to have different crossbar thicknesses (I needed 1.5-2mm thickness). This cross member is about 3mm thick. Use the correct screwdriver and press firmly to avoid damaging the screw. I wish it worked for me. Maybe with a slight increase in width they can come out with a smaller crossbar width.
