Review on Genuine Leather Blocking Cowhide Vintage Men's Accessories by Kevin Ayala

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Started at 4 and worked through to 5.

The best thing about this wallet is that the bill pocket has a zip closure so all your money and credit cards are safe inside, but it also has a snap flap open The front of the wallet opens for quick access to a clear ID/license pocket and 3 slots for your debit card, sports card, school or work ID, whaev. The quality of the leather is good and the only stress I've noticed is the fabric coming loose from the stitching on the lining of the front bill slot. No showstopper. The zipper is made of high quality metal, will not loosen or catch, and the pull tab is strong and simple. Inside, there are 4 stadium style card slots on the left side, with a larger side pocket behind. On the right side there are 2 stadium card slots and behind them a small zipped pocket. Not usually a fan of zip pockets in wallets because they always feel bulky, this zip is almost flat. Inside there is enough room for 3 or 4 US currency sized "emergency bills" folded in thirds and a 1 ounce bar of your favorite metal. In fact, the pouch is right before where the Meeah's stitching breaks, so it might be worth grabbing the emergency notes and skipping the silver ingot. Considering the hell my wallet is going through and the heavy use. received, this wallet has proven to be durable, practical and fast. I only have one product recommendation. Last summer my stupid ** managed to lose her wallet not once but twice. In a week. I was lucky the first time and found it a day later in that abyss that lives next to the driver's seat in every car. The second time around I was just lucky that after a couple of weeks it turned out to be intact except for about $600 or so that I'm carrying in cash. (Yes, yes, yes, I know.) What would make this wallet perfect would be the addition of a sleeve that the wallet chain could easily attach to. If needed I cut a small hole in the valve at the bend and fed a small key chain through and attached a chain to it. Eventually it will tear because it's just a hole I made in the leather and it's not reinforced well. However, I like it well enough, I've ordered another to try and fit a reinforced bushing. Hope that helps.
