I have a lot of hot dots. I bought all of her pens except for two. I know how to use them and what to expect. I also thought. Since my youngest decided to bite off the ends of all of our Hot Dots pens, I knew I had to buy more if needed. is that now I'm ready to challenge my youngest in Pre-K and bought a new dog run set. After a long wait on his part, our new set FINALLY arrived (only 2 days after ordering, but that was a long time ago). We open the box with pre-made batteries and a screwdriver, only to find that the pin appears to have been tampered with and I couldn't open it. After a lot of trial and error, I decided to take my old and new pen apart in hopes of just swapping out the nibs. Apparently the design was changed a bit so the new tip couldn't be removed; I was hoping to put it on my old pen. I persistently ripped off the case, put in the batteries, but the new pen didn't work. My toddler sat on my lap, deeply disappointed, while I ordered an exchange and packed up the damaged set. A replacement arrives 2 days later. There are no problems with packaging and battery cover. My son and I got to work straight away and found that the pen doesn't praise the correct answers, but it does praise almost every one of the answers listed. I guess it's time to return the replacement🙄
