So I'm not sure what's going on with these things. This is the second Tripp Lite extension I have purchased and both have taken less than a month to complete. I use it to connect my tools, roll it up at the end of the day and put it in my tool bag, then I repeat the next day. I never drop it or turn it over by throwing it. Both times I plug it in and the light doesn't come on so I check the switch and it gets stuck and fiddling with it I manage to get it to "click" but now the juice. Not sure if honestly, but it's expensive to replace every few weeks
