I shred mostly with a multi-sheet electric shredder, but in cases where I just want to shred a small tracking label, address label or part of an invoice with personal details or maybe a small personal note from a friend, these 7 blade scissors are excellent. The device feels solid, heavy and runs smoothly. I just feel good in my hand. It's true that it's not for grinding a lot of things. It would take too long. And not for shredding multiple sheets: the effort required to cut one sheet with a blade should be about the same as cutting seven sheets with a blade. But for my purposes it's ok.
