Review on Large Pet House Beach House Stripe Ottoman-Footstool Collapsible Bed - Brown/Blue, Large by Larry Lackings

The item arrived quickly, 2 days after I ordered it. Was packaged well so there was no damage. Doesn't come with instructions but then, you really don't need them. Just raise the sides and drop in the floor board. There in is where I had my problem. The advertisement shows a nice white fleecy floor covering. That was one of the major factors in my decision to buy it. This is NOT what you get. The floor is a very thin piece of a dark velveteen fabric wrapped around a piece of fiberboard. There is no softness - all you can feel is the hard board. My dog is used to something soft to sleep on so I took an old pillow apart and used a fleece throw with animals on it to quickly make a nice soft pillow to fit in the bottom. Now, it will be comfortable. For the cost of this box, I would have thought they would put a better piece of fabric on the bottom board.Right now, my Molly won't go inside of it. She is very fussy and doesn't like change. She is afraid of the house now but I know in a few days she will warm up to it. I like that I can put some of her toys on top of it and it looks very nice in my family room. I"m glad I got the longer one rather than the square one. I would recommend it but be prepared to replace that awful hard piece of flooring (put something soft over it).
