Who would have thought it would wear out in 5 years when you furiously unplug and plug it back in over 3000 times a year. I bought that first. 5 years ago (in case you haven't figured that part out yet). A few months ago the metal pin was so worn out that you could breathe on it and fall out. Plugging was like throwing a banana down the hall. So I bought another one, and funnily enough it takes more force to insert than this one. I could end up basically waving my phone. So the good news is that the pin is made of a softer material than the phone hole, so this wonderful little cheap cable sacrifices itself. Perfect length and perfect rectangular pin for my needs.
