The 3/4 inch blade was purchased to saw and has worked well. Being relatively new to my saw (14" Powermatic), I figured a 3/4" blade might be best for a five year old Mesquite who's been out in Las Vegas all this time. The wood was as dry as it gets and very hard where I thought a 3/4 inch blade might be what I wanted. I was wrong. A 1/2 inch wooden shank I bought at a flea market, which appears to have been used for sawing concrete, proved to be a better fit for my needs. acceptable cut after I found the correct feed. Woodstock 3/4" is a good saw blade, but not suitable for my saw, type of wood and experience.
