I'm a makeup artist and have had back surgery and two treatments so I appreciate any product that keeps me from weight and clutter. This palette is OUTSTANDING! Without exception, this is the BEST BLANK MAGNETIC PALLET! I can't say enough good things about it. It's strong, has a large capacity, yet is "compact" for everything that fits and keeps your precious makeup safe (not flimsy cardboard: I can squirt with alcohol when I'm done with each client without me worry about damaging the pallet). ). Coming back to the size aspect, I'm not sure how to explain this, other than that you can refer to the attached image where I placed it next to the domed Z palette (btw, big disappointment: the baked blush is in contact with the top so the lid doesn't close completely (look at the circular markings on the lid) for the Return to MAC program (another half-full box between the two pallets.)
