The Cat's Meow

I would like to thank the people who answered my questions, they were very helpful. I rarely write reviews as I find them subjective. I think the build quality and performance of this item, as well as the ability to help other music lovers, is worth the effort. I have two other ultrasonic devices that I use on firearms and other items. I also tested two more ultrasonic record cleaners. This is a high quality and very user friendly device and the sound quality of the cleaned vinyl is definitely superior to any other cleaning method, that I used before. In particular, the highs and mids are much cleaner and more open. I can often play a record two or three steps below volume. Overall I'm very satisfied and cleaning ten records at once is a godsend. As with all ultrasound machines, I recommend leveling the machine. I bought an 11" x 17" cutting board and stereo self-adhesive sticks from Revain. Ten minute project plus setup time. I heat the device to 87 degrees with an outdoor aquarium thermometer, degas and turn off the heater. When cleaning, the device maintains around 88-89 degrees. Heating the solution really improves the cleaning. After the rinse cycle, I dry the record with an inexpensive handheld vacuum I bought years ago. I find it better than air drying. my son, anal, told me to explain that this is not a paid confirmation. Be happier and cleaning ten records at a time is a godsend.
