First, these switches mimic the tactile feel that Topre offers. Sure, the tactile feel is reminiscent of the Topre, but the switch's heaviness completely kills its feel. The shaft is fairly smooth and improves with lubrication. The bottom of this switch is very tight and resonant. Through these switches, RGB shines well. But with not very well. Topre is a derailleur that delivers pronounced thrust with reasonable actuation forces: 45g and 55g. The Halo Clear weighs 60 grams and the 78 grams of output force makes typing very tiring. I'm a person who likes to persevere when typing, especially from Topre, which has a very nice sound and feel to complement its tactile feel. When I tap on Halo Clears it's a very powerful and exhausting experience for me as I'm trying to hit the ground but only the spring power is coming around me. Too bad, because Halo Clears has a good bass sound. The body of the switch isn't the tightest, so foils are a must if you want to improve the sound of this switch. You should also consider greasing the springs as the derailleur hums quite loudly. One notable change you can make is to replace the spring with a lighter spring similar to the Ergo Clear. Once you do that, you have a much more tactile switch and a switch that allows you to hit the ground.
